Ma

1 Still see her face, 'tween hope and despair,
still feel her pain, in her middle age prayer.
What's there to say, when life turns away,
from what you've seen and have ever been.

2. Still see her days, walking in strife,
still know her way, clinging to life.
What's there to say, as by physical decay,
dignity, too young, ...  fades away.

Refrein:  But even so
She was persistent, and driven,
like a bird above.
To fight for the life she was living,
with faith in the God of love.
Her way in taking and giving,
made her strong, steady and tough.

3.Still see her eyes, claiming the need,
an unpredictable trial, how her kids will proceed.
But what can I say, when life turns away,
if what you've built up, too soon fades away.

Refr But even so
She was cheerful, and driven,
like a bird above.
To fight for the life she was living,
with faith in the God of love.
And her way in taking and giving,
made her strong, steady and tough.

Refr And in her death
She was faithfull, forgiven,
with trust in the God of love.
The troubled years  she had been living,
found peace, like hands in glove.
Her life she had surrendered in giving,
an example for many, driven and tough.
